There's plenty happening at SKOB leading up to Christmas with both our men's and women's teams kicking off pre-season through November and December. The men's team even had a few runs on the school grounds - returning there again for another couple of sessions on 16th and 23rd of January. All the players were thrilled to get a chance to have a run on the ovals that are in mint condition.
Some of our Saints players are heading to Darwin to play in the NTFL in January. There's a great story on the VAFA website here.
Following the recent VAFA AGM our President, Pat Mount, proudly collected the 2023 Women's Premier Division premiership flag and 2023 VAFA Club Championship shield on behalf of the club.
"Three Premier division flags in a row is a tremendous achievement for our women's football program and we look forward to unfurling this flag in 2024. Full credit to all players, coaches, volunteers and supporters that have been on this journey and contributed to this success. To also go back-to-back with the VAFA Club Championship is testament to the great depth of talent we have at our club across men's, women's and under 19's. All sides contributed to this result and it is genuine 'whole of club' achievement which we are very proud of."
Pat Mount, President SKOBFC
