St Kevin’s Old Boys Football Club have lost one their oldest players when Mick O’Brien sadly passed away last Friday at the grand age of 90.
Mick joined SKOB in only our second year as an Amateur Football Club in 1948 and went on to play 119 games, retiring in 1958. He holds Player Number 39.
Mick was the Club’s Leading Goalkicker in 1949 and was a member of SKOB’s first ever premiership in 1952 when they won the VAFA Senior D Grade flag.
