Sad news arrived on Life Members Day when we heard one of our own members had passed away late last week. Tony Buckley was a great volunteer at SKOB for over 20 years through the 70's, 80's and into the 90's, helping out as boundary umpire for over 200 games with SKOB. He was a much loved member of the SKOB community and he made a terrific impact at last year's Life Members Day - catching up with Tom Jok after a big SKOB win. Our Life Members raised a glass for Tony on Saturday and our Senior team wore black armbands in their match against Collegians. Our thoughts go out to Anne and family. He will be missed.
